From the very beginning, Simon and Mags Hope set the highest standards at every level of the operation and, as a result, the facilities at Aston Mullins Stud are second to none.
Mags Hope runs the farm on a daily basis, together with Nikki Allen, who acts as stud groom. There are also three other experienced people who make up the Aston Mullins work-force.
The aim is for the mares and their off-spring to enjoy a relaxed and happy existence and to that end they are provided with the best available care and attention.
The stabling block has been fully modernised and contains 20 light and airy boxes and there is also a bespoke foaling unit, containing CCTV. Further facilities include an indoor school, an outdoor manège, a weighing machine, as well as post-and-rail paddocks and turn out pens.
Our auxiliary service-providers all offer exceptional credentials. For example, Dodson & Horrell can point to over 70 years of expertise in formulating the feeds we use whilst Veterinary issues are dealt with by the highly regarded Baskerville, Horgan & Partners. Daniel Harman is our Farrier, while transportation is taken care of by Olympic. Finally, Blandford Bloodstock Ltd is consulted in regards to sales and purchases.
Simon and Mags Hope believe that Aston Mullins Stud has the infrastructure, support and people in place to ensure that it will thrive for many years to come.
