Aston Mullins Stud was conceived by Simon and Mags Hope whose life-long passion for racing and bloodstock led to them acquiring the present 300-acre site
in 2000.
The history of the land extends back to medieval times, when it was first actively farmed, whilst the current, beautifully restored farmhouse dates back to the
17th Century.
Despite being a farm for so many years, the site is mainly situated on Oxfordshire clay soils making it the ideal environment for a successful breeding operation.
To date, Simon and Mags have a dozen-strong broodmare band at the farm, the pedigrees of which can be checked through our mares button, and which we are pleased to say have achieved significant success since just 2000.
